Daytime, Mon–Fri

2-Month Acting for Film Course

The 2-Month Acting for Film Course is an intensive daytime on-camera training for beginners and stage actors transitioning to screen. Classes run Monday–Friday and combine daily on-camera work, technique, structured rehearsal, and filmed scene practice with regular playback feedback. By the end of the course, you’ll leave with filmed scene material for your acting portfolio, industry-standard headshots, a coached and recorded introduction video, and clear next-step guidance for auditions and further training. Training takes place alongside our filmmaking courses, creating opportunities for collaboration with filmmakers and—depending on production needs—access to auditions for student film projects.

What to expect

How this course works

The 2-Month Acting for Film Course runs in a daytime format (Monday–Friday, 4 hours per day) and combines technique classes, rehearsal, and on-camera scene work. Training progresses from camera fundamentals and truthful performance tools into structured scene rehearsal, set-style simulations, and filmed takes with playback analysis. You are consistently on camera throughout the program, not only during final shoots.

You’ll work in a creative environment alongside filmmaking students, creating natural opportunities for collaboration and, depending on production and casting needs, access to auditions for student film projects. The course concludes with filmed final scenes, an in-class screening, and individual feedback with guidance on next steps.

preparing for the program

Before the program begins, there are a few essentials to get ready. This section outlines what you’ll need to bring, what is provided by the school, and what to expect in terms of equipment and basic costs.

What To Bring?

  • Security deposit (5 000 CZK)

This amount will be held by the school throughout the duration of the program and may be used to cover intentional or negligent damage not covered by liability insurance, fines for breaking school rules, damage to school property, equipment misuse, parking violations or similar incidents. The deposit acts as an additional layer of responsibility and is fully refundable at the end of your studies, minus any deductions if applicable.
