What to expect

How this course works

The 1-Month Acting for Film Course (Weekend) runs over four weekends (Saturday and Sunday, approx. 5 hours per day). Each week combines practical on-camera exercises, partnered scene work, and playback feedback to help you build confidence and camera awareness quickly.

You’ll begin with the essentials—framing, eyelines, hitting marks, and on-camera presence—then move into coached rehearsal focused on truthful performance, listening, and working effectively in close-up. As the course progresses, you’ll explore character and genre choices and prepare a short final paired scene. In the final weekend, you’ll film your scene with multiple takes and receive individual instructor notes. The course ends with an in-class screening, reflection, and clear next-step guidance for self-tapes, casting platforms, and further training.
