ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants aged 17 may be accepted if they have completed secondary education and provide parental/guardian consent.
Applicants must be able to communicate comfortably in English in class and on set (approx. B1–B2). No language certificate is required.
A scan or photo of a valid passport or ID card is required as part of the application for identity verification. Data is processed in line with GDPR.
Your CV should include your name and contact details, a personal statement, work experience or your video/film shooting references, education and qualifications, key skills.
To apply, you should normally have a secondary school certificate. If you do not have a standard certificate, we may also accept:
Please introduce yourself (1–2 minutes). Tell us who you are and briefly describe your experience. This is not a performance — we are interested in your communication skills, motivation, and personality. Phone recordings are welcome; please record horizontally.
Please send a video of your acting performance (max. 5 minutes). The video should include one or two scenes or monologues that demonstrate your acting range. The material can be your own work or scenes from film or TV, performed by you.
If available, please submit a showreel instead.
Submit a motivational letter of 1–2 standard pages (250–500 words) describing your motivation to study acting for film, your goals, and why Prague Film Institute is the right fit for you.
If you meet the entry requirements, you will get shortlisted for a video interview in order to assess your motivation, interest in acting for film and your study expectations.
