Choosing the Cinematography specialisation means spending more time behind the camera. You’ll take dedicated cinematography classes, work in camera roles on student productions and shoot a final film as a cinematographer.
You’ll develop practical skills in camera operation, lighting, composition and visual storytelling, while learning how the camera department works with directors and other crew members on set.
Train with professional cameras, lenses and equipment, both at the school and in a professional rental environment.
Shoot your own final films or work on multiple student productions.
Build cinematography credits across your own or classmates’ films.
Advanced students can take a main crew role in cinematography on the feature film.
