Choosing the Cinematography specialisation means focusing your studies on the camera department and getting extra training, more classes and on-set positions that match your role. In our cinematography courses in Prague, you’ll have additional camera lessons, be assigned cinematography roles during shoots, and you’re required to shoot your final film as the cinematographer—either your own project or a classmate’s. This helps you build a strong, focused portfolio.
You’ll learn essential camera skills—operation, lighting, composition and creating mood—and develop a practical understanding of how the camera team works with directors and other departments on set.

Shoot a short film at the end of all cinematography courses.
You don’t choose a specialisation yet. Everyone builds the same filmmaking foundation.
