ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Minimum Age: 18 Years

If you meet all requirements except age, please contact us. You may be eligible for an exception.

English: Communicative Level

If English is not your first language, and you didn’t study your last two years of school in English, you need to show that your English level is at least:

  • CEFR B2
  • PTE 51
  • IELTS 5.5 (Reading and Writing at 5.5 or higher)
  • or any other recognised language test at the same level

If you don’t have a certificate but show good communication skills in your admissions interview, you may be accepted conditionally. In that case, you’ll need to attend paid English classes at the school and later pass our internal English test. Please note: if you don’t pass this internal test after completing the classes, you won’t be able to take the final course assessments.

Scan of Passport

For non-EU applicants national identity card will be also accepted.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Your CV should include your name and contact details, list of your work and/or your film shooting experience, your education and qualifications, and your key skills.

Example of Creative Work

Ideally this will be a 2-3 minute showreel: a compilation of your work as a cinematographer, director, and/or editor. At minimum, we must see at least 1 short film created by you.

If your specialization is scriptwriting or documentary, we would like to read one script you have written (5-20 pages) or a short documentary you have made, respectively.

Motivation Letter

1-2 standard pages (250-500 words) about why you want to study film and why at our school specifically.

Recommendation Letter

A letter of recommendation from a previous tutor, mentor, or filmmaking colleague.

Online - Interview

Once you submit all requirements we will get in touch with you to set up a short video call. We will ask you about your experience with filmmaking and your career ambitions.
