BTEC Higher Nationals - Internationally Recognised Higher Education Qualifications

BTEC Higher Nationals are internationally-recognised Higher Education qualifications delivered to over 100,000 students in 58 countries worldwide every year. They are widely recognised by the industry and higher education. We are just about to receive approval for the certification at level 4 and 5 for our full-time

programmes: Filmmaking, Post-production and Game Design. The qualification can be used to gain entry into employment or universities at an advanced level. It is considered equivalent to the first two years of a 3-year university degree (bachelor's).

  • Level 4 is The Higher National Certificate (HNC) and it is made up of 120 credits. It is studied full-time over one year and at the Prague Film Institute it corresponds to 1 year of study (2 semesters). HNC is equivalent to the first year of a University degree.
  • Level 4 and Level 5 together make up the Higher National Diploma (HND) which is made up of 240 credits. It is studied full-time over two years and at the Prague Film Institute it corresponds to a 2-year study (4 semesters). HND is equivalent to the first and second year of a University degree.

Our film school offers you BTEC courses that are going to be certified in the near future so that they can be included in your studies.
