Expand your screen portfolio through sustained on-camera work, advanced scene development, and filmed performance projects.
The 1-Year Acting for Film Program (Advanced) is designed for actors with on-camera experience who want to deepen their craft, expand their screen portfolio, and strengthen their professional readiness for film and TV. You train through advanced filmed scenes, longer-form work, and continuous feedback—building consistency, control, and range on camera. Set inside an active film school with a high volume of productions, you collaborate closely with filmmaking students and have frequent opportunities to be considered for roles in their films—gaining real set experience and portfolio footage. You also get career-focused guidance to sharpen your showreel/portfolio strategy, strengthen your positioning, and plan next steps for auditions and casting platforms.

Develop and refine a showreel strategy focused on range, casting type, and professional presentation.

Work with advanced psychological, physical, vocal, and improvisational techniques adapted specifically for screen performance.

Operate confidently within a film-school production environment and receive focused guidance on casting platforms, industry expectations, and professional positioning.
Each semester is structured around two complementary phases that combine advanced training with real production experience. In the first phase, students follow a regular studio-based schedule focused on advanced acting training, filmed scene work, and practical workshops. This includes on-camera classes, shooting-based exercises, collaborative workshops with filmmaking students, and school-organised shooting camps. In the second phase, filmmaking students enter their main shooting period and produce a high volume of student film projects—typically around 15 films per semester across the program.
Acting students collaborate closely with these productions and may be cast when suitable for the project and role. When not involved in shooting, training continues through individual coaching, scene consultations, and guided professional development. Across both phases, the program supports advanced on-camera skills, set workflow understanding, and long-term screen portfolio growth.

Graduates of this program typically pursue one or more of the following paths:
