Lloyd Kaufman is the legendary co-founder of Troma Entertainment and the creator of The Toxic Avenger, one of the most iconic cult films of all time. His work has influenced generations of filmmakers, including Quentin Tarantino, Kevin Smith, Trey Parker, and Peter Jackson. Since the 1970s, Kaufman has been a fearless champion of independent cinema, building the “Troma Universe” with outrageous, boundary-pushing films such as Class of Nuke ’Em High, Sgt. Kabukiman NYPD, and Tromeo and Juliet (written by James Gunn). Beyond directing and producing, Kaufman has appeared in over 200 films, from Guardians of the Galaxy to Sharknado 4, and authored seven books on filmmaking, including All I Need To Know About Filmmaking I Learned From The Toxic Avenger.
