Study at the Prague Film Institute for one year with 50% tuition support through our Work–Study Scholarship. Each academic year, we offer two scholarship spots — one in Filmmaking and one in Acting — for long-term programs only. For the academic year 2026–2027, the spots have now been filled and applications are closed. The next round will open in October 2026 for the 2027–2028 academic year. The scholarship is based on a simple exchange: selected students contribute about one day per week (7–10 hours) to our marketing and events team, helping capture the spirit of the school — filming and photographing classes, creating social media content, hosting or acting in promo videos, assisting at school events, or serving as student ambassadors. Open to beginners and advanced — bring your creativity, reliability, and vibe, and we’ll match the tasks to your strengths.
Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year closed on 28 February 2026. The next application round will open in October 2026 and close in February 2027. Short interviews will take place in March 2027, and scholarship recipients will be announced by the end of March.
You can apply for the Work–Study Scholarship directly through the regular course application form. While completing the form, you can indicate whether you wish to apply only for the scholarship or also for regular paid study. Please note that the scholarship is available only for 1-year and multi-year programs.
